I don’t know about you, but pretty much every funeral I’ve ever been to has been a pretty sombre occasion – it looks like they’re trying out a different vibe over in Ecuador though.

Footage that was uploaded to Twitter shows a woman having the absolute time of her life as a half open coffin is paraded down the street, kissing the corpse a bunch of times and then jumping not top of it and twerking whilst everyone around her sings and dances too. Looks like a completely wild party to be honest.

Yeah, definitely better than everyone wearing suits and then heading back to some grotty pub and eating some crappy sandwiches, but I guess that’s just the difference between here and Ecuador.

Interestingly, the woman’s relation to the man hasn’t yet been discovered, but we do know that he was 38 year old Marlon Mero Quijije. He was shot three times whilst he was walking in the San Jose neighbourhood in Manta. Police think that he was the victim of a robbery and was shot when he resisted arrest. RIP.
