I guess if you had told me that an influencer was pregnant with her stepson’s baby ten years ago, I would have been kinda surprised – just kidding I probably would have asked you what an influencer was – but as things are going in 2020 this isn’t doesn’t even surprise me in the slightest.

The influencer in question is 35 year old Russian influencer Marina Balmasheva, who went viral a couple of months ago whens he revealed that she was now in a relationship with her ex husband’s 20 year old son Vladimir “Vova” Shavyrin. That doesn’t sound so bad to begin with, but then you hear that she first met Vova when he was seven years old and she was 22 and helped raise him for ten years then it gets a bit creepier and ickier. No way anyone can look at that relationship and think that it’s cool, right?

Looks like they aren’t backing down though, as Maria’s last post revealed that the pair were pregnant and getting married shortly:

Прям как до Москвы в позе рака, но и переживать по этому поводу уже не интересно. Надолго это или нет: ни у кого нет гарантии. Никогда. Деньги. Много кто на это клонит. Скажу прямо: я трачу на детей сейчас больше, чем на Вову. Я не помню, когда что-то ему покупала. Машина? Она у меня появилась после начала отношений, да и за руль он не просился ни разу. «Ему с тобой удобнее». Ну, так и раньше он жил неплохо 🤷🏻‍♀️ Без меня. Значит , между нами всё же есть что-то искреннее. А как долго это продлится: никому неизвестно… В Сторис сейчас закину его тетрадку с первого класса 😅 очень смешно задачу решал. @vladimir_shavirin

Tired of hiding. I know that the deadline is still small. That ultrasound with the heart is yet to come.

But I want you to know that everything is possible in this world. We are 4 weeks old and yes, that is why we decided to get married.

You never know how life will turn out and when you will meet a person who makes you smile.

I know that some will judge us, others will support us, but we are happy and wish you to be as well.

I mean I suppose when she puts it like that you want the pair of them to be happy, but then you just think about what’s going on here and I just can’t get hind it sorry. This interview with Maria’s ex husband Alexey makes the whole story about ten times grimmer as well:

I could not fall asleep one night when I heard them having sex. Then I understood that Marina was cheating on me with my son.

A few minutes later she just came and lay down next to me. I didn’t tell her a word that night.

Ugh I don’t care how happy you are shagging your step son who you have literally helped raise – spoiler it should be zero because you shouldn’t be doing that in the first place – but you could at least be a bit more subtle about it hey? Totally not backing this sorry.
