If you don’t know how it works by now, basically subscribers pay a monthly fee to receive exclusive NSFW content from the content provider they follow. There are countless success stories, as we saw with former WWE legend Sunny raking in £250,000 a year, but it doesn’t work out for everybody. Some, like Aussie model Billie Beever (great name), have lost followers since the pandemic began and have taken to TikTok to cry about it:

The wildest part isn’t even what she’s saying in the video, it’s the caption underneath where she calls herself an ‘essential worker’. I don’t wanna be too mean because obviously times are hard out there for a lot of people and it’s not nice seeing anyone bawl their eyes out like this, but suggesting people should pay up because posting nudes on OnlyFans is ‘essential’ work? Come on!
As for what she says in the video…
I’m losing subscribers on OnlyFans. That’s my main source of income. I can’t pay my rent anymore.
I can’t work. And even if I was to go back to work, what am I supposed to do, go work at a strip club?” Beever asks. “They’re all closed down as well. They’re all closed. All the strip clubs are closed. You can’t even be close to someone because of social distancing
I have nothing else going for me. I have no other talent. I’ve got nothing else. I can’t dance, I can’t sing, I can’t do anything. I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do. I just want everything to go back to normal so people can keep subscribing.
Um yeah, we all want things to go back to normal, but I don’t think the #1 reason should be so that ‘people can keep subscribing’ to Billie Beever’s OnlyFans channel. Though I guess that would be a bonus as far as she’s concerned.
Still, sharing this video of herself on TikTok crying about a lack of subscribers and being unable to pay her rent is probably a savvy move that will see her subscriber count increase even before the pandemic is over. I wonder if that was the plan from the beginning? Pretty smart if so.
