Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Weili Zhang took part in one of the best ever UFC fights last weekend and when all was said and done Joanna looked completely and utterly battered due to the amount of punishment her head took during the bout.

Despite coming out of it kinda looking like an alien or something due to severe swelling on her forehead, Joanna managed to make it to the end of the fight, although she sadly didn’t manage to pick up the victory and reclaim her world title. Nobody had seen or heard from her since the fight, but she’s now taken to Instagram to update fans on her condition and it doesn’t really look as though her face has healed that much.

Here’s what she had to say in her Instagram story:

Hello guys! I made it home. I’m in Poland, it’s almost 2am. Happy to be back home. I took a long shower, unpacked some stuff and now I’m having a small home spa. It’s a mud mask.

Of course, I’m still having so many bruises on my face, on my chest. The swelling went down but I feel better. So, we good! I’m about to go to sleep. I cannot wait to enjoy my family and friends. Be safe guys.

OK I guess it looks way worse because she’s wearing the mud mask and the grey of that makes it look like she’s got more bruises, but even without that her face still looks a mess. Guess she’s just gotta wait it out in self isolation and see what happens.
