Everyone loves halloumi with its popularity seemingly increasing exponentially year upon year and more and more halloumi based products being released to satisfy the demand.

The latest these is coming courtesy of Morrisons who have decided to release beer battered halloumi which has my mouth watering just from typing it. It only costs £2.50 for a pack of four of the rectangular battered lumps but if you’re feeling like a bargain then you can pick up three packs for just £6. Winner.

Mmmmm. Look real good don’t they? If you need any more convincing then the fine details are that it’s legitimate Cypriot cheese coated in Black Sheep Ale beer batter and it only takes you four minutes to cook, presumably from whacking it in the oven. Can’t wait to try them to be honest. Maybe this weekend if the weather gets better?
