Corey Feldman has been speaking publicly for years about how he was sexually abused as a child by people in Hollywood, but can’t do anything about it now as the statute of limitations in California has run out and he’s scared about what the shadowy figures in Hollywood would do to him if he finally named names.

Despite all the recent accusations flying around Hollywood regarding sexual abuse, Feldman appeared in an interview on Monday and said that he still refused to name his abuser until after he had raised $10 million through crowdfunding in order to protect himself. This did sound suitably ridiculous to anyone watching at home, and it seems like Feldman himself has realised this as in an interview on Dr Oz yesterday, he finally named his abuser.
In a somewhat bizarre episode, Dr Oz revealed that he had called the Santa Barbara Police Department and that they said that Feldman had never actually named his abuser, although he did report back in 1993 that he had been the victim of sexual abuse. Dr Oz then somehow managed to convince Feldman to call them up and report it again live on air, and in the process also reveal the true identity of his abuse:

Great work there from Dr Oz. In case you’re still confused as to who Feldman is talking about as he wasn’t shown in the clip, it’s a guy called Jon Grissom who co-starred with Feldman in both ‘Licence To Drive’ and ‘Dream A Little Dream’ back in the 80s. Here’s a couple of pictures of him then and now:
Yeah, I’ve got no idea who that guy is either. Apparently he played bit parts in the two movies mentioned above and worked as an assistant around Hollywood, which is how he was able to abuse both Feldman and his best friend Corey Haim.
Let’s hope that this is only the beginning for Corey Feldman on his quest for justice and these deviants finally go down for their crimes and Feldman isn’t somehow silenced like he feels. It seems like he’s finally on his way to taking them down though by coming clean and we can only wish him the best of luck in his efforts.
