While the music world is still in shock from yesterday’s devastating news of the apparent suicide of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, a series of shocking tweets have emerged from his wife Talinda Ann Bentley’s account.

The tweets were deleted less than 20 minutes after being written, and they appear to make hurtful statements about how she never really loved the singer as well as details on the cause of death. At the time of writing it’s not clear if Talinda’s account was hacked, although it would be very unlikely that she did write these statements – particularly since she is yet to make a public statement about her husband’s death. Not to mention that no one in their right mind would post those things hours after the news of their spouse’s death broke out.
After these tweets were deleted, a second series popped up comparing her late husband’s manhood to her alleged lover Mike Shinoda – adding more to the argument that her account was probably hacked. As said, this is just speculation, but we’ll keep you posted as more information comes in.

If this does turn out to be hackers, then a massive f**k you to whoever did that. No matter what the circumstances of their marriage, it’s beyond insensitive to prey on a mourning woman who has just lost her husband and to publish them for other friends and family of Chester to see. Not cool at all.
RIP Chester – you will be greatly missed.
