A man over in Spain claims that he was drugged and robbed after waking up in a Costa Blanca brothel on a bed surrounded by strangers.

The 65-year-old pensioner had been asleep for 37 hours, only to discover when he woke up that nearly £8000 worth of charges had been taken from his credit card. When you consider that there were a total of 61 charges, you can’t help but believe that the guy was robbed. No amount of Viagra can keep you going for that long.

Speaking to the police, the man told them that all he could remember was a string of women giving him drinks, which he now suspects were spiked. The only part he does recall is getting up once to go to the toilet.

After waking up, he headed straight to the bank where he discovered the transactions, one of which was at a restaurant near the brothel. The restaurant manager, who also happened to be the brothel manager, and three of the employees were arrested on suspicion of theft.

A police spokesman confirmed:

National Police arrested four workers at a brothel who retained a 65-year-old man against his wishes so they could steal money from his credit card.

The victim woke up on a bed in a place he didn’t recognise surrounded by strangers he’d never seen before.

All he remembered was that several women had given him alcoholic drinks, making him think they could have spiked them with a drug which made him lose the notion of time and reduce his will to resist.

Thirty-seven hours went by after the man turned up at the brothel, which he spent on a bed, with no food and in great distress, recalling that he had only got up once to go to the toilet.

Alarmed at the situation and still disorientated, he managed to leave and got a taxi that took him home.

Once he had recovered, he decided to go to his bank and saw that while he was retained in the club, his card had been used 61 times with a total expenditure of  £7,862.

What a wild night. Hopefully the police are able to charge the culprits and this guy can get his money back.

I do have to ask what this guy was doing hanging about on his own at a brothel at the age of 65. Obviously he must be a bit of a lonely pervert, but I guess that doesn’t excuse him being robbed of £8000.
