You might remember Hanson from the mid 90s and their global mega-hit MMMBop. You probably remember Justin Bieber from five minutes ago.

That short statement pretty much puts the whole argument conceived in this article into context. Hanson are currently on tour in Australia – presumably performing MMMBop twenty times in a row to make up an hour long set – and decided to talk to Page Six on how they felt about Justin Bieber.

In short, they weren’t really into him:

I prefer not to get any venereal diseases so whenever Justin Bieber gets near me or near my ears… it’s just ear infections, they’re terrible.

It’s like hanging out with a koala. Chlamydia of the ear, it sucks.

Ouch. I doubt Justin Bieber’s really that bothered though or many people in Australia really care what some old has beens from about twenty years have got to say about their new idol – Bieber’s currently got three of his songs in the top five over there, and doesn’t show any signs of going away anytime soon. And let’s face it: Despacito is a banger.
