Yesterday we brought you the news of the horrific police rape attack on a 22-year-old black man over in Paris that had led to prolonged riots in the city. And now the man – identified as Theo Temoigne – has come forward to talk about his terrible ordeal.

Speaking to BFMTV, Theo gave the following interview in his native French:
I was stopped by four officers during an identity check, and then hit and peppered with racist insults.
One of the officers took his truncheon and drove it into my buttocks.
As I was being sodomised, I fell face down. I had no strength left.
It was as if my body had left myself. I thought I was going to die.
The police then told me to sit down, but I could not comply due to my injuries, so they teargassed me and hit me in the head to make me do so.
I was then handcuffed and taken to a police car, where I was insulted again, spat at and beaten in the private parts.
Once at the police station another officer saw his condition and finally I was taken to a hospital.
Jesus. I didn’t think stuff like that actually happened anymore except in the movies, but even more worryingly apparently it’s a regular occurrence in that area of Paris – Aulnay-sous-Bois. Cops are allegedly routinely racist and abusive to its large minority population, where unemployment is also prevalent.
The officer who stuck the truncheon up Theo’s rectum has been charged with rape as of Sunday and three other officers who were with him have been charged with aggravated assault, amidst the backdrop of rioting in Paris and many people calling for ‘Justice for Theo’. Let’s hope that he actually receives some for once and the situation over there improves in the coming weeks.
