An Australian woman who was told she might never become pregnant has managed to become pregnant twice in ten days.

But all is not what it seems. Kate Hill, who was receiving hormone treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome, a condition which means she was not ovulating, managed to conceive twins at two different times.
It’s incredibly rare for a woman to conceive a second time whilst already pregnant. I should hope so – that’s got to be a bit of a shitter hasn’t it, even if you did want a kid. Two in one sounds like a lot too handle.
The twin girls, Charlotte and Olivia, were born 10 months ago with different sizes and weights. Kate said:
We actually did not realise how special that was until they were born.

Pregnancy normally just stops the monthly cycle of ovulation. However, every now and then, it is possible for a woman to release another egg after conceiving and that’s exactly what happened to Kate. If this is fertilised, it can also implant and develop into a second pregnancy.
Kate’s husband, who sounds like a complete joker, said, “hole in one.” What a laugh.
Seriously though, it’s great that these two managed to have kids after the initial struggle – good luck to their family in the future.
