Jeremy Clarkson Has Already Managed To Make A Racist Comment On The ‘Grand Tour’

Jeremy Clarkson’s racist tendencies got him in trouble with the BBC multiple times (unbelievable that I’m even typing that) sparking multiple controversies with his previous show ‘Top Gear’.

Predictably, it hasn’t taken long before he’s in trouble again, this time with his new show the ‘Grand Tour’. He’s only just started and already he’s sparked a race row after comparing himself, James May and Richard Hammond to gypsies. While explaining the new format of the Amazon Prime show, he said:

This is our new travelling studio tent. We’re going to be roaming the world in.

We’re going to be like gypsies – only the cars we drive are going to be insured.

Idiot. Hammond was quick to try and backtrack by saying:

Stop saying things that are going to get us fired.

Still, it was too late and already the Traveller Movement has contact Ofcom over the comment. A spokesman for the group said that Clarkson:

Directly implied that travellers and gypsies broke the law by not insuring cars and caravans.

Meanwhile a post on the Traveller’s Times Facebook page said:

The prat thinks he is untouchable. He is just an all round unpleasant, spoilt by his mommy individual.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. Good one Clarkson – it probably won’t be long before he’s made so many offensive slurs that he then gets booted off the ‘Grand Tour’ and then another TV network will snap him up and get him to do a multi-million pound show. It’ll be an endless cycle of hiring and firing, all because he’s good at blokey banter. How about we just banish him from TV for good? Then we won’t have to ever listen to him brag about his success again.
