Looks like Wrestlemania will have to wait a little longer after a federal appeals court ruled that Brendan Dassey must remain behind bars, despite the fact his conviction has been overturned.

Dassey was convicted in 2007 of raping and killing Teresa Halbach and sentenced to life in prison.
A federal judge in August overturned his conviction, saying investigators coerced him into his confession.
State attorneys have now appealed that ruling and a three-judge panel at the appeal’s court agreed to block Dassey’s release while they await the resolution of the appeal.
Absolute madness that they haven’t let this poor kid out already. I mean what the hell is even going on? Appeal after appeal after appeal, then an appeal to appeal the original appeals. It’s just so confusing. Put those wanker cops who questioned him in jail and let this guy breathe some fresh air for a change.
On the bright side, I guess a few more months isn’t much when you’ve already been in jail for 9 years for a crime you didn’t commit.
