The identity of the killer of John F. Kennedy is one of the biggest mysteries in the world, with countless pieces of evidence indicating that it wasn’t actually Lee Harvey Oswald.

Oliver Stone was one man who tried to uncover the truth when he directed a movie about JFK featuring Kevin Costner as District Attorney Jim Garrison – the first man to bring charges in the murder of the president. Even though this was back in 1991, Stone has for some reason come forward 25 years later and told a story about a secret serviceman named Ron who confessed when he found out he was dying that it was one of his own men who had killed the late President:
He came to me through a series of weird letters through post office boxes.
Everything would go to a PO Box, and he’d locate it from offshore, from Bermuda.
We eventually met at a hotel in Rochester, New York.
He said he didn’t want money or recognition. He said something like: ‘I want you to know this is from my conscience.’
The scenario he laid out was very practical. It’s the way I would do it, if [I] were going to do something like that.
You kill the President, and your cover is security, and if the sniper or snipers who kill the President are hidden in with the guys who are supposed to protect him, guys who have no knowledge of this plot… it makes a lot of sense.
And his memory of it was so technical, filled with military jargon, details about radio communications right after the shots.

Hmm I mean really? There are so many weird holes in this story, the main point being why the hell hasn’t Oliver Stone mentioned any of this previously, or possibly tried to do anything about it at all? Would you believe me if I told you that he likely only mentioned it now because he has a new book coming out and probably wants to drum up publicity by making something completely outrageous up?
That’s what I’m thinking anyway, because this claim is just ridiculous. Think you’ve been reading too many conspiracy theories there dude, and this ‘Ron’ guy probably doesn’t really exist.
Basically, come back when you’ve got something useful to say Oliver Stone, which hasn’t been for a while. I’m not going to buy your book, although I did like it recently when you said that ‘Pokemon Go’ was going to lead to totalitarianism. It didn’t and it’s one month later dude.
