Everyone loves a good conspiracy theory – unless it’s completely racist and definitely not true.

This recent theory from a documentary on Russian TV channel REN TV definitely falls into the latter camp. The show basically said that Jewish people are responsible for the sinking of the Titanic, the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the 9/11 terrorist attack. Ey?

The documentary is based upon an earlier movie that came in out in 2012, stating that is was a group of “300 Jews, Illuminati and Freemasons” who caused this disaster. The recent version states that “Arab terrorists were unjustly blamed for the attacks.”
Critics have since said that the documentary was an attempt to revive the ideals of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion – a 19th century antisemitic forgery created by the Tsar’s secret service, the Okhrana, to whip up anti-semitism in Russia.

Either way, whoever made this movie is a complete nutjob and it’s pretty unbelievable that something like that could be broadcasted in this day and age. Sounds like some sort of weird propaganda movie from the Westboro Baptist Church or something. What a bunch of nutters.
