Nintendo is continuing to smash it following the success of Pokemon Go by announcing that they’re going to release a miniature version of the NES with over 30 built in games.

The Miniatures NES looks exactly like a classic NES only smaller and can easily connect to your TV via an HDMI cable. The controller also looks and feels exactly like the original iconic NES controller. But here’s what you’re waiting for, that list of games that it’s going to come with:
- Balloon Fight
- Bubble Bobble
- Castlevania
- Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
- Donkey Kong
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Double Dragon II: The Revenge
- Dr. Mario
- Excitebike
- Final Fantasy
- Galaga
- Ghosts’N Goblins
- Gradius
- Ice Climber
- Kid Icarus
- Kirby’s Adventure
- Mario Bros.
- Mega Man 2
- Metroid
- Ninja Gaiden
- Pac-Man
- Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
- StarTropics
- Super C
- Super Mario Bros.
- Super Mario Bros. 2
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Tecmo Bowl
- The Legend of Zelda
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Oh man is that a good selection – think I’m most excited about Ghouls N Goblins or Double Dragon, but I could see myself spending a bunch of time playing Punch Out!! and Zelda. It’s a shame they haven’t got some of the classic games i remember like Probotector or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles but I guess they couldn’t get the licensing or something.
Either way we shouldn’t complain about the fact that this exists at all because it’s awesome. We’ve got to wait until November for it too but it’s only going to cost $60 which is completely rad too.
Oh and I almost forgot – you aren’t going to have to use passwords and all the games are going to have save points, which basically makes it correct the one major flaw that the NES had. Can’t wait for November.
