The cracks are well and truly beginning to show in the relationship between the UK and America and after Barack Obama shat all over David Cameron in a new interview.

Obama accused David Cameron of allowing Libya to sink into a “mess” and also confessed he was annoyed at him for dilly-dallying over raising UK defence spending to 2% of GDP (which he eventually agreed to).
Obama lamented the fact that Libya had turned into an ‘ISIS haven’ and blamed Cameron for becoming “distracted” by other things (pig-fucking?) and allowing the country to sink into civil war.
The President added that the 2011 military action that led to the fall of Gadaffi “didn’t work”:
We actually executed this plan as well as I could have expected: We got a UN mandate, we built a coalition, it cost us $1 billion–which, when it comes to military operations, is very cheap.
We averted large-scale civilian casualties, we prevented what almost surely would have been a prolonged and bloody civil conflict. And despite all that, Libya is a mess.
Obama conceded that he put too much faith in David Cameron and French President (at the time) Nicolas Sarkozy:
When I go back and I ask myself what went wrong there’s room for criticism, because I had more faith in the Europeans, given Libya’s proximity, being invested in the follow-up.
He also revealed how irritated he was when Cameron initially disagreed to increase UK defence spending, and told him if he didn’t agree to it the UK would no longer be able to claim a ‘special relationship’ with the US:
Free riders aggravate me. You have to pay your fair share.
David Cameron decided to respond through his spokeswoman:
We would share the President of the United States’ assessment that there are some real challenges in Libya, that is why we are continuing to work hard with our international partners, including the US and through the UN, to support a process in Libya that puts in place a government that can bring stability to that country.
Mr Cameron has “spoken many times” about why taking military action in Libya was “absolutely the right thing to do”.
We did take a number of steps to support that country following the end of the civil war.
Asked about Obama’s comments that he had to shame Cameron into accepting the 2% defence spending:
I’m not going to get into conversations between the Prime Minister and President.

Nice one, David Cameron. Embarrass us in front of the whole world why don’t you. Make us all look like a bunch of incompetent chumps. The worst part is that Barack Obama basically put him over his knee and spanked him like a little child and you know what David Cameron’s going to do about it? Sweet F all. He’s going to carry on doing cringe Scottish accents and licking arse everywhere he goes. Bun that guy.
P.S. Don’t get twisted, the people in charge in America are a bunch of fuckwits too.
