This definitely needs to be included in the next Brap or Crap and probably would be if it wasn’t in France. I mean nobody really likes going to France really do they ? For one it’s full of really rude French people and it also really stinks. But yeah forget about that, these burgers look pretty incredible. Or at the very least interesting.
They’re created by the Belgian fast food chain QUICK (but are only available in France for some reason?) and are being sold in conjunction with the Phantom Menace being released over there in 3D. I guess they need some kind of good promotion like new burgers to get people to go and see that piece of shit movie, even if it is in 3D this time. The two burgers look pretty far out though. The Jedi burger looks pretty much just like a regular double cheeseburger, although on top of it instead of some bacon or lettuce or whatever it looks as though you’ve got some cheese curds? Or maybe marshmallows? I can’t really tell from the picture.
The piece de resistance (it’s French, get it?) though has to be the Dark Vador burger. Before anyone says anything I know it’s supposed to be Darth Vader but QUICK are advertising it as the Dark Vador burger. I guess it must have got lost in translation or something? Anyway, this just looks like a regular double cheeseburger with some salad on the top except that the bun is completely black. WHAT THE HELL? How the hell do they do that? What the hell would the bun taste like? I’m sure you’ll agree with me that it looks completely insane. Would it be good though? Anyone in France read Sick Chirpse and wanna let me know? Unfortunately the burger is only going to be available until the end of March and I don’t think I’m gonna make it over to France before then. Or alternatively you could just send one of the burgers over to Sick Chirpse HQ?
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that QUICK have created a new burger, as in 2007 they created a Spiderman burger to coincide with one of those movies coming out. What was a Spiderman burger? It was a burger with a bun that looked a bit like a spider’s web. It wasn’t even a double cheeseburger, it just looks like a cheeseburger. To be honest it looks kinda crappy. Check it out below. At least it looks as though QUICK have stepped it up in 2012 with the Star Wars burger though. Send me one pls.
