Nikon posted an announcement to Facebook the other day, congratulating photographer Chay Yu Wei for taking a perfect shot of an airplane framed by a ladder in Chinatown.

Somehow, Nikon didn’t notice that the image had been Photoshopped, but a bunch of other people did:
Even in the original image you can make out a white box around the plane if you take a closer look. Just a bit of a give-away.
Nikon had no choice but to accept they’d cocked up, and the Internet had to do what the Internet does best by creating their own versions of the now infamous image.
