One of the coolest couples in showbiz just got a lot cooler.

Sacha Baron Cohen rose to fame as the character Ali G, and his gorgeous wife Isla Fisher has been in loads of Hollywood films (Hot Rod being a personal favourite), and the pair have been together since 2002. Between them they’ve obviously earned a lot of money over the years, but they certainly aren’t stingy with it.
The couple gave $500,000 (£336,000) to The Sunday Times Christmas appeal to help protect a quarter of a million children against a Syrian measles outbreak.
The charity’s chief executive, Justin Forsyth, said:
By allowing us to make their generous donation to Syrian children public, Sacha and Isla are helping to highlight the tragedy of the issue today.
That’s only half of it, though. They also donated $500,000 to the New York based International Rescue Committee, which provides humanitarian relief all over the world.
Nice one guys! They’re directly giving money to worthwhile causes, unlike Lady Gaga and her utter bullshit ‘charity’.
