A woman in India has decided to name her newborn son ‘Uber’ after giving birth to him inside an Uber ride in New Dehli while en route to the hospital.

The woman, named Babli, ordered the car via the app after the ambulance was taking its sweet time getting to her.
Two other women jumped in the car with her and helped deliver the baby along with the driver, Shahnawz Khan, who explains:
The woman was writhing in pain and her friends did not know what to do.
I pulled out the towels from the seats and poured some drinking water into a bowl. The child was born within minutes and I was really happy to see that he was responding.
(Later) the doctors asked if I was her husband. I narrated the entire incident after which they congratulated me. This was one of the happiest moment of my life.
What a nice guy. Here he is outside the Uber car (presumably cleaned all the placenta off the back seat):

Babli requested that Shahnawz name the child, after he practically saved the day. He chose ‘Uber’, and remarkably, Babli accepted it. Surely she was expecting him to offer up his own name and not the name of the company he works for? Too late to turn back now I suppose.
Either way, things just can’t get any better for Uber can they? They just keep on winning no matter what happens. Not only do people book them over traditional cabs 10 times out of 10, they’ve now got free advertising for life in the form of a child who’s actually been named after them.
Even the guy who found out mid-ride that his Uber driver was a coke dealer gave the man a 5-star rating. Most prosperous company of 2015? Definitely.
