When DIY-mad Dad James Byrne accidentally chopped off his thumb during a DIY job at his own home, he thought the surgeon was joking when he suggested he replaced his lost thumb with his big toe. Turns out he wasn’t and James now has his big toe attached to his hand. Weird.
