You always hear these stories about someone finding a large amount of cash and then handing it in and it always ends in one of two ways — they’re either thanked and sent off on their merry way, or they’re given something as a token of appreciation from the person they’ve returned to cash/property to.

This guy probably got one of the greatest rewards you could ask for though — free pizza for a WHOLE YEAR.
The Berkeley man named Mike Vegas ordered pizza and wings from his local Domino’s but when he received his order he discovered stacks of cash totalling $1300 inside.
I ordered some pizzas and I thought I was going to have the day off. I was going to sit at home and enjoy my relaxation.
He ate one slice before putting the rest in the fridge (bit weird but OK). Several hours later though:
My phone started blowing up and I wasn’t looking at the random messages. I was at work so I wasn’t answering.
Turns out the calls were from the delivery driver who was supposed to deposit the cash at the bank after making the delivery, but somehow mixed the cash and pizza together. Apparently he put the cash in the wings box.
About 5 a.m., I got home from work and went to my refrigerator and pulled out what I thought was wings. It turned out to be 1,300 bucks.
Mike returned the cash and general manager Zia Mumtaz rewarded his honesty with free pizza for a year. Big.

The question is though, how much pizza is he really allowed? Could he literally order pizza every single day for a year or would they eventually think he’s taking the piss and withdraw his reward? Let’s not forget $1300 is a decent amount of cash which he could have easily kept. I’d want at least 2 large pizzas a day for a year for returning that amount. Yeah OK that would work out to way more than $1300 but at the end of the day you said “free pizza for a year” and Mike graciously accepted, too late to go adding limits now.
Who knows, he might even receive a delivery from the coolest pizza delivery boy in town.
