I’ve always found that photos speak louder than words, good photos that is. After reading pages and pages of text during history lessons at school, it never really sunk in or made an impact until I turned the page and saw a powerful black and white photo that had really captured that moment in time. This is why I’ll be buying LIFE’s 75th anniversary coffee table edition (which you can snap up here).
Life is a magazine which was created by Hunry Luce, who also founded TIME magazine. Life has been published for many decades, and Life’s reporters have taken and published photos from all corners of society and the world. The most recent 75th hardback edition pays tribute to ‘the best of’ from since the magazine started back in the 1930s.
