Michael Peacock, 45, is taking his former boss to court following three surgeries and the removal of one of his ball bags, after his boss manhandled him during a two-day ‘team-building’ seminar in New York.
Employees for data-security company Iron Mountain Management were barcrawling in the Kingston area and wound up on a river cruise. However as the drinks continued to flow, boss Richard Langtry became “increasingly loud and aggressive” and as Peacock passed him on the way to the toilet, Langtry “grabbed his left testicle, squeezed it hard and pulled it down as if to rip it from his groin.”
6 foot 8 Peacock was “doubled over in pain” and felt completely emasculated. Court papers described it as a “perverse and misguided attempt by Langtry to bond with Peacock while simultaneously demonstrating his authority and dominance”.
Langtry was subsequently fired and Peacock switched his job position after co-workers kept ripping the piss out of him, urging him to “chop the other one off” and calling him a “drag queen.
