Manny Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach just shared a crazy story about Manny while talking to Yahoo! Sports about the boxer’s upbringing in the Philippines and his family’s struggle with poverty. Things were apparently so tough that Manny’s dad COOKED THE FAMILY DOG and ate it.

When Manny realised what had happened, he ran away from home and lived on the streets:
Manny ran away from home after his father ate his dog. He slept in a cardboard box. He fought his way through all this, turned pro at 14, and look at the man he is today.

Really puts things into perspective if your dad is/was a bit of an arsehole growing up. Whatever he did I bet he never literally cooked and ate your pet dog. Oh my days that is horrifying. After hearing this and then reading about what an all-round dickhead Floyd Mayweather is, I just don’t see how anyone could not want Pacquiao to crush him on May 2nd. A 12 year old kid who watches his dog get eaten and grows up to become a top class gentleman/boxer should never lose to a grade A prick like Floyd Mayweather.
P.S. Manny now has a new dog named Pacman.
