Tottenham played Man United in a fairly entertaining 0-0 draw yesterday at White Hart Lane, but the game will probably be remembered for something else other than the scoreline.
That’s the fact that for some rason during NBC’s commentary of the match they decided to refer to Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata as ‘Marijuana Mata’. There’s been no explanation for this bizarre mispronunciation of his name – unless NBC know something that we don’t know – but as you might expect the image was posted on Twitter and has since gone viral.
