This is what it looks like when a Paralympic gold medallist murders his girlfriend in the bathroom of their home on Valentine’s Day.

The video, released by Pistorious’s legal team, shows he moved quite nimbly through the house without his prosthetics while carrying a gun. He says he thought girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp was an intruder (despite waking up and seeing that she wasn’t in bed next to him) before shooting her four times through the bathroom door.

If (when) he’s found guilty, he faces 25 years.
