Again, this is one of those questions I’ve never really thought about but now that it’s come up I’m pretty intrigued. They guy in the video does a pretty good job of explaining the ins and outs of the science behind it, even if he is an overenthusiastic annoying prick.
He also explains something called the mere-exposure effect, which is pretty interesting and something that I’ve never, ever thought about yet it’s so obvious it’s crazy.
