This daredevil skier sure does look stupid as he tries to backflip across a road on Mount Baker in Washington State. He completely under rotates and as such ends up with a face full of snow, and is probably lucky he doesn’t break his neck.
The moment is captured perfectly by his buddy Ben Dann, who filmed the incident and then slowed it down and added some music from American electronic group Awolnation which just makes the whole shot pretty much flawless. There’s just something so graceful about seeing a guy flying through the air upside down in slow motion about to face plant, you know?
Ben did state that it was his buddy’s first time, and it was a valid attempt. He also added that he went back up there and nailed one afterwards, but who cares about that? This version is way better.
