Not even 24 hours into the new year and 2014 is already completely ruined — James Avery AKA Uncle Phil AKA the voice of Shredder in the animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has died. He’d undergone surgery for an undisclosed illness recently but didn’t make it back out of the hospital.
