We featured this NYC apartment that was going to cost $23 million to buy a few months ago, but it seems like that’s already been topped by ones that could cost up to $95 million (although to be fair the lowest price in the building is $16 million, so slightly more affordable).
It’s called 432 Park Avenue (and some kid climbed up it a couple of weeks ago for kicks) and it’s stated to be the tallest building in New York City as well as set to be the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere when it opens sometime next year. Each apartment is going to be 30,00 square feet with 12.5 foot high ceilings and 10 X 10 foot windows.
Within the building there’s also going to be a private restaurant, a spa, a 75 foot swimming pool, a screening room/performance venue, climate controlled wine cellars, a children’s playroom and a board room. Sounds like it’s pretty much got it all except for a basketball court and a football pitch, which unfortunately means it probably isn’t as good as Mark Wahlberg’s new pad. Can’t have it all I guess.
