We’ve talked about Steph Matto on the site before after she ended up in the emergency room because she was forcing herself to fart into jars so that she could sell them to thirsty fans, but now she’s getting back on the horse for Christmas and making a cool $40,000 in the process.

Whilst she had to stop her regular farting into a jar business due to health concerns, she thought that she could bring back some limited edition Christmas baubles with her farts in for the festive period. She’s managed to hawk out 40 of them so far, selling them at $1000 a pop and so making a pretty tidy profit off it all.

To ensure the farts smell like Christmas, she eats a bunch of gingerbread and drinks a load of eggnog before proceeding to let loose in the bauble. Here’s what she had to say about her new source of income:

So far so good – or should I say so fart so good.

I’ve already sold 40 and they’ll be a few more with the last-minute Christmas rush.

I’m packaging the farts in plastic, unbreakable bulbs so that no accidents can happen.

I’m being really careful to listen to my body so I don’t end up in the emergency room again.

But thanks to the state of the economy, the numbers haven’t been too overwhelming.

So fart so good! That’s a good one huh?

Anyway I guess we should be praising the state of the economy because it means that Matto can crank out enough farts to make more than most people do in a year and not end up in the hospital because of it. Knew there was an upside to the cost of living crisis somewhere. Hope everyone else is doing OK out there.
