8) Pig Beach, Big Major Cay, Bahamas

For some reason, Big Major Cay is occupied by a bunch of feral pigs. It’s depressing when a feral pig looks like it has a better life than you, isn’t it? No one knows quite how the pigs got there.

Some say some sailors dropped them off on the uninhabited island, intending to go back and eat them at a later date, but never got round to it. Another story is that they survived a shipwreck and swam ashore.
