6) OGLE-2005-BLG-390L b (The Siberia Of Space)
To date OGLE-2005-BLG-390L b is the planet farthest from us that we have successfully glimpsed. It’s also the coldest we’ve found with surface temperatures ducking down to -364 degrees Fahrenheit (-220 degrees Celsius).
This frozen monster is 5.5 times bigger than earth, and for scientists to have found such a relatively small dim rock so very far from home is nothing short of miraculous.
