5) Atlanta, America
Atlanta is having a tough time with rats at the moment. There’s been a glut of foreclosures due to the recession which leads to empty buildings and homes which means ratty heaven.
On top of the abandoned houses the strapped for cash city disbanded its Rat Attack team 11 years ago. Currently there’s estimated to be around 4 million in the Atlanta area, but that’s a guess obvs.
Atlanta’s bustling city centre has been getting more and more rammed with people over the last few years as old buildings are being renovated and turned into flats. This means rats have had to move out of the safety of their broken old shells and into the warmth of human dwellings.
