7) Shanghai PJ Fashion

In Shanghai a few years back, wearing your pyjamas out of the house wasn’t a sign that you’d given up on fashion, it was the norm. Whether you were going shopping or going out for dinner, wearing your PJs was AOK.
In 2010 when China was readying itself for the World EXPO, the powers that be tried to stamp this “fashion” out. It seems a bit of a shame really, why not remain comfortable for the entire day? It makes good sense.
So, there we go. I hope you at least found out one new thing you never knew. And, if you wanted further evidence that China is becoming the next superpower, watch this mad time-lapse footage of them building a high rise block. These guys are on the ball… if a little weird and massively polluted.
