You know the guy? He used to sing with Cher years ago. Then he moved into politics. Well, he was also into Scientology. It’s not clear how seriously he took it all though. Apparently, when asked about religion, he always said he was Catholic and he did try to escape Scientology’s clutches, according to his wife:
Sonny did try to break away at one point, and they made it very difficult for him.
