1. Tang Du Zoology, China
This place has a lot going for it. It’s the size of 4 NFL football fields (I don’t know how big that is, but I guess we can assume it’s big), has 1500 plants and a bunch of wild animals just roaming about.
They also have a state of the art filtration system to insure the water in which the food is cooked is above standard. That’s probably the last thing I would normally mention about this place but their website seems pretty proud of it so I thought I’d get it in upfront.
They’ve even got real life seals. Now I’m fairly sure these guys aren’t on the menu, but maybe they are? It’s better than eating dog I suppose. Or is it? I’m confused. Anyway, SEALS!:
They’ve been going since 2005 and below is an inside look. Epic? Yes.

Having watched that I realised this: if you consider this a restaurant that includes loads of wildlife then it’s awesome. If you consider it a small wildlife park with a restaurant in it, it just doesn’t seem as cool. I still want to go though, the cuisine is supposed to be top-notch.
So there you have it people, a brief global jog through some odd eateries. I probably won’t get a chance to go to any of the above venues, but if any of you do please send a postcard and let us know how you get on. OK?
