3) Stull Cemetery, Kansas
The town of Stull has seen some tragedy, which according to legend, induced a good old fashioned cemetery haunting. In the early 1900’s a farmer was carrying out some controlled burning of his crop field. Once the flames had died down he found his son dead in the ashes. A few years later a man went missing and was later found dangling from a tree in the cemetery.
Tall tales of Satanic rituals were so prevalent that one Stull resident, who hated the bad rep his town was getting, knocked down the old stone church in the graveyard in an attempt to quash the rumours.
According to some, the Stull Cemetery is one of the seven portals to hell. Personally I don’t believe there are any portals to hell, but you still wouldn’t catch me wandering through there on a cloudy evening.
