2) Camel Catastrophe

Camels are massive. FACT. One unlucky Australian lady – Pan Weaver – found this fact out the hard way. She was given a camel as a present on her 60th birthday. That seems pretty nuts, but Weaver had a large amount of land and a lot of animals. In Australia camels are a common site at fayres and tourist spots, in the same way that us Brits ride donkeys on the beach.

So although this exotic purchase wasn’t too mental it didn’t end very well at all. Apparently the camel wasn’t settling in very well with its new animal friends; it had taken a particular disliking to one of the goats. Something was up with the camel, it wasn’t happy it seems.

One evening Pam Weaver was in the vicinity of the camel when it tried to mate with her. Weaver tried to get the lustful beast off her back but the camel knocked her to the ground, stamped on her head and lay on top of her until she was smothered to death.
