3) Star Tiger & Star Ariel

Continuing the Bermuda Triangle vibe, next up we have a couple of Avro Tudor planes that went AWOL in that most infamous of airspaces. The Star Tiger disappeared in January 1948, but the weather was shocking so its vanishing wasn’t particularly suspicious, but the Star Ariel is a different story.
In January 1949 the Star Ariel took off in fabulous conditions travelling from Bermuda to Kingston, Jamaica. The sky was blue, the air was calm, but for some reason the plane vanished into thin air and was never seen or heard from again. No distress call, nothing.
