4) Austin Renames Rubbish Dump

Unhappy with the title “Solid Waste Services Department” the good people at the city of Austin, Texas decided to re-brand their crud collection service. What better way to decide on a name than asking the internet? What could possibly go wrong?

So what did the guys and gals of Austin decide upon as a relevant and poignant name for their tip? – “The Fred Durst Society of the Humanities and Arts.” Awesome. Apparently even Durst himself saw the funny side and was down with it, however the powers that be decided to opt for the crushingly dull “Austin Resource Recovery” instead. BOO.
