Unreal scenes at the Dogfight Wild Tournament in Sabadell, Spain, the other night, as a 3 Vs 1 MMA fight that seemed to be going the way you’d expect it to resulted in the underdog picking off his opponents one-by-one via submission en route to total victory.

Despite absolutely battering the guy in the first round, the three teammates couldn’t finish him off and ultimately paid the price:

Mental. I know the solo fighter was physically bigger than his 3 opponents but still, it seems like they know how to fight and looked well on their way to defeating him in Round 1. The fact he survived a 3 Vs 1 onslaught and made it to Round 2 probably deflated them a little, but they still would’ve been favourites to get the job done.

Nope – as soon as he dispatched the first guy with a guillotine choke, the other 2 completely crumbled. I actually felt really sorry for the lad left 1 Vs 1 with him at the end; he knew he was utterly screwed! How are you going to stand a chance 1 Vs 1 after you’ve just been throwing haymakers at the guy for 5 minutes with two of your friends, and still couldn’t hurt him! That’s got to put a big old dent in your confidence, for sure.
