Woman Spends £3000 On Surgery To Look Like Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole is obviously one of the hottest babes ever, so it makes sense that girls all over the world probably want to look like her. But I doubt anyone would ever go to the lengths that trainee lawyer Cherelle Campbell decided to go to in order to look like her.

Campbell identified Cheryl’s dimples as her defining feature, and was kinda pissed off that she didn’t have any herself. Then one day her buddy told her that if she had £3000 surgery then she would be able to get dimples just like Cheryl Cole. Awesome.

Cherelle immediately began looking into the surgery and just went for it. The procedure involved her getting holes punched into her face with a scalpel, then getting them stitched back together to create the indentations in the sides of her face. Sounds painful, but undoubtedly worth it.

Cherelle had the the following to say about the surgery and her reasons for getting it: ‘When God was giving out dimples I was at the back of the queue. I find myself on the street or watching TV and anyone with dimples stands out to me’.

‘I was online with my friend and we were basically having a joke as to what procedures you could do and you couldn’t do, and I was like: ‘Wow, I didn’t know you could have your dimples done’.

It makes so much sense, right? Following the surgery, Cherelle looked a bit disappointed stating that she was disappointed because she didn’t think they would be that deep. She consoled herself by saying that once they healed though she thought that they would be much better.

Cherelle was appearing on the Channel 4 show Bodyshockers: My Piercing Hell, which I’m sure you can watch online somewhere if that’s something you really want to do. Unfortunately, we can’t all laugh at Cherelle for being an idiot – I mean she looks nothing like Cheryl Cole right? – because it turns out that Channel 4 manipulated the footage of her that was broadcast to make it seem like she was an idiot. Who would ever have suspected that TV shows would do such a thing?

Since the show was broadcast last Thursday, Cherelle has released the following statement, which makes her sound slightly more sane and not like the celebrity obsessed fangirl that she was portrayed.

‘I did not want to look like Cheryl Cole or Lauren London, that will never happen and I don’t idolise them. I wanted to do it because I hated my smile previously – I thought it just looked odd. So I avoided smiling in photos’.

I spent some days with Channel 4. Most of what was said in that time did not appear in the show. They chose what they wanted and put it in a five minute snippet to their liking’.

I literally did not have the time to film the catchup. So when they asked I had to turn the offer down. I now regret this as I’ve been made to look like a fool’.

Still, she did want this surgery so she must still be slightly insane. Her dimples do look a lot nicer than the ones we saw on the show and in the pictures above though in fairness to her. Although it hardly looks like they’re even there so you’ve really got to ask what the point of the surgery even was?

Oh well, at least Channel 4 paid for it I guess.
