3) Man Of The People?

One big gripe about major political parties is their infinite connections with the elite. Policy decisions can be bought and every single politician seems to have been born with a silver plum shoved down their throats. That’s a fair beef, but is Ukip any different?
Ukip’s largest poster campaign from last year was backed by Paul Sykes, a multimillionaire anti-EU, self-made business prat. Sykes bankrolled Ukip for over a decade, and that particular poster campaign cost him £1.5 million, do you reckon he had any sway in the organisation’s policies? Hmmm…
As for “man of the people” Farage’s beginnings aren’t as humble as he might have you think. He is the son of a stockbroker who had a successful career in the city before turning his hand to rabble rousing. All of his kids were privately schooled.

And as for honesty, they don’t really come up trumps there either. This was published in the Sun newspaper:
In an article MoT fix axe fears (March 30) we quoted a letter from Ukip containing claims that thousands of MoT test centres could close under EU proposals forcing motorists whose cars fail to go to a different garage for repairs. We have been informed that no such EU proposals exist and are happy to set the record straight.
Basically they just made it up.
So even if you are anti-EU and you reckon immigration needs sorting, you don’t want these pillocks and their fascist connections in Europe left in charge of the country. Do you? No sir.
