You might have been aware that this year was the 25th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park film and you might have even chosen to celebrate by having a dinosaur themed party or going to see the new Jurassic Park movie or something equally as crazy, but I guarantee you didn’t mark it as stylishly as the guys from NowTV.

That’s because for some reason those dudes decided to commission a 25 foot statue of Jeff Goldblum in the centre of London, right by the River Thames. It’s three metres high too and weighs an impressive 150kg. Apparently it took over six weeks and 250 painstaking hours to make – looks like it was well worth it right?
Yep, nothing like getting a picture with a massive statue of Jeff Goldblum by Tower Bridge eh? Whilst I love the statue and love that it’s found its way to London, I gotta ask what the thinking behind it is because Jeff Goldblum isn’t from this country and nobody that had anything to do with Jurassic Park or Jeff Goldblum is from this country. That probably only makes me like it even more though really.
Jeff Goldblum also recently came out with the explanation for the legendary scene too:
It’s supposed to be Costa Rica, right? So things are hot and I’m sure I’m in some sort of fever.
So all the logic is that we gotta get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don’t think anybody fought me on that.
No Jeff, no they didn’t – absolutely not. Who would ever have suggested such a thing?
For more of the same, here’s a remix of Dr Ian Malcolm’s laugh from Jurassic Park. Why did anyone bother to create that either?
