Ad agencies don’t just pick models willy nilly. Oh no. A lot goes on in the background. Advertisers know that certain faces are considered more trustworthy than others.
Some things are obviously looked on as being “negative” like wonky features, a dodgy tash or warts, but there are much more subtler clues, too. For instance, wide faces are less trusted than long ones, blue eyes are less trustworthy than brown.
