Antichrist (2009)

Lars Von Trier’s “Antichrist” tells the story of a dysfunctional grieving couple who retreat to the woods. This is no normal retreat however, revelations occur and it seems that can only be resolved by depressive mutilating. Including Charlotte Gainsbourg slamming William Dafoe’s balls with a block of wood and then masturbating him until he ejaculates blood, and if that’s not enough she then severs her own clitoris with a pair of scissors whilst masturbating.

Don’t let the above deter you from watching however. This movie has the right level of beauty and terror to make it a worthwhile, if not awakening, watch.
