For a long time, people have openly mocked former Blink 182 guitarist Tom DeLonge about his belief in aliens and work to uncover the truth, despite his insistence that he was working on a project that would lead to the enlightenment of the world – a belief that ultimately led to him being kicked out of his band.

It looks as though Tom might be finally able to share the fruits of his about with us tomorrow, as he just posted the following on his Instagram account. Get a load of this:
Yeah, I’m not really sure what that means either, other than it seems like Tom is getting ready to announce a new company that is going to reveal the truth about aliens through a new technology and/or feature films, and he’s got a lot of important former high ranking government officials on his side.
There’s a fairly lengthy Huffington Post article alongside this post too, but it mainly reveals this information and that a bunch of scientists/government officials are joining up with Tom to form some kind of science institute that’s going to investigate aliens and other future scientific developments like warp drives and teleporting. Their key mission statement seems to revolve around the company being in the private sector and communicating all developments with the public so this area of science is no longer stuck in the shadows of the government somewhere.
I’m not really sure if this is going to go anywhere of if Tom DeLonge is just a nut job that has somehow managed to convince a bunch of vaguely knowledgeable/important other people to join him on his quest to prove the existence of alien life. I guess we’ll see what he says tomorrow and then take it from there, one bizarre press release after another.
For more on Tom DeLonge, check out one of his last performances in Blink 182 when he completely sucked headlining Reading Festival a few years back. Good thing he’s focussed on the alien thing now.
